Usual time of the Greek shops from 9:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00. Major supermarkets and convenience stores are working without a break for siesta from 9:00 to 20:00.

VAT

In Greece, the value added tax (18%) included in the price of goods. Tourists from countries not members of the EU and bought goods worth over 117 euro, may require a refund of VAT at customs. To do this, fill out a special form and be sure to keep your receipt for its subsequent presentation to the customs.
